i came by ben's blog n realise he's reading tuesday with morrie also. haha..i like it better than the 5 ppl u'll meet in heaven. i tink there's more things tt i can learn from this book, life lessons. keeps me thinking bout life =)

i realise i blog like once every 2 wks on avg..lolx.. i m such a lazy blogger..haha.. i tink i prefer reading ppl's blog.. haha.. anyway, my work's ending next tue, sch's starting on the 6th, orientation's from 1st to 3rd. No time for rest.. haha.. hope all goes well ba. pretty apprehensive rite now, don't know how Uni life would be like, don't know if i'll be able to cope with a course that I am totally unfamiliar with.. hmmm... i'm really looking forward to hall life, hope that it will be fun and that I won't get homesick..lolx..

Have been sick these few days, had flu last Friday, and this Wendesday, sore throat on Thursday, fever on Friday, lost my voice on Saturday.-.- Probably due to the weather n my company's air-con. It's terribly cold can, it's almost like a freezer, even with 3 layers of clothings-tank top, sweater, jacket- it's still freezing! Worst thing is that there's nothing we can do 'coz the aircon is controlled by IMM management. Guess they are too rich, so blast the aircon -.- Alot of people in my company also fallen sick one by one, and some people quit so lesser people to share the coldness, even colder. Thankfully I am leaving soon. haha.. My colleagues have been pretty nice, very generous, always treat me to good food.haha...

As I was saying, I had fever on Friday, but I still went to work, and was feeling so terrible, my head ache like it's going so burst, and it doesn't help that the office is so cold, and outside is raining. At night I went for cell group, was a worship session and I think it's really great and we should have more of that lo. So derrick actually prayed for some people 'coz too many people already so he couldn't pray for everyone, but I got prayed for, and my fever subsided after the meeting, and I felt so much better. I did take panadol after the meeting, but usually if I am down with fever, I will be sick for at least 3 days even if I pop panadols like sweets-just an exaggration to emphasize something la, I'm not trying to overdose myself with panadols-, but this time one 1 day so I really thank God for the healing and His faithfulness. Yep.

And last of all I really hope to meet up with alot of my frens b4 I start school. Yirong,Yvonne, Pearlyn, Ting Ting, ShiLei, Peifang, Xueli, yadayada.. pretty impossible la, but just se how it goes lo.

hur hur... i was cheated today!.. this's gonna to be a complaining post. today i was to meet jocc n frens for derrick's bday video, 730pm at city hall. so aft work i decided to take a bus to town, but i dunno got wat bus so i checked out the board with the buses route info.den i mistook dover for dhoby ghaut. i dunno wat's wrong wid me la, tink too tired. haha.. so aft 1hr plus on the bus i realise smthg was wrong, i shldn be taking so long coz the route i saw beforehand was short!..i did pass by forum mall n far east so i tht i wld eventually end up at dhoby, but i was dead sure tt i'm on the wrong bus when i get to stevens's rd, which is like newton??.. so i quickly alighted b4 i get sent to serangoon..-.- arghh.. den i look at those boards tt show the bus routes in the bus stops, to my relief i saw smu! and only 2 stops away..! so happy.. got a few buses going somemore. so very quickly bus 154-one of the bus tt goes to smu as shown on the board-came n i boarded the bus, relieved tt i wasn lost. n this time to make sure i won take the wrong bus i actually asked the driver if the stop aft next is smu, so he said YES! YES? NO! horrible!!!! i alighted n to my shocker i saw NUS! NUS eh! not smu. den i check the board, this bus stop's board all put nus, the previous's all put smu! like wat the hell... i was taken literally for a ride la! so now at this bus stop there's no buses tt goes to town so being very late already i took a cab which is sooooooooo hard to flag n went down to chijmes to find them. wasted 5.90..-.- den in the end i only get to say 10 words for the video,so i went "derrick, a very x5 bday to u." =( dunno wat's wrong wid me today la..-.- anyway i passed my btt on first try today! probably the only good news today...lolx...

i've no idea why nowadays my phone likes to ring in the morning. -.- i slpt pretty late yest so i tht i wld slp in abit since i'm working afternoon shift. Then my boss called n say pearlin wasn't at the shop n he cldn't contact her-familiar situation -.--so he asked me to cab down to open the shop and change shift with pearlin so i'm like o ok lo, don mind earning bit more since when sch starts gotta spend quite abit also. alright so while i'm on my way n reaching, pearlin called n told me she forgot to miss call ann-we'r suppose to miss call our ms boss when we reach shop in the morning-n had already opened the shop for like an hr already n her hp's in her bag so she cldn't hear all our calls. So... i called my boss james n he asked me to go home n can claim taxi fare. but pearlin felt bad so she told boss she wld pay for my cab fare. i actually asked her to let boss pay the full fare since he asked me to cab down de..haha =X the fare came up to $17.20 in the end so pearlin offered to pay $10 n the rest james will waive. haha poor gal, $10's like our pay for 2hrs...but the thing is our shop's equipped with cctv tt's connected to our boss's internet, apparently he didn't view it n he didn't call the shop either. i think he assume it's like the last time. cant remember if i had blogged bout it. there was once when i tht i was working 4pm, but boss said when he sent me the schedule was actually 10am-i remembered my schedule was 4pm , wrote it down but deleted the msg-.- so no evidence haha-so nobody opened the shop n i left my phone in the room so cldn hear it ringing n nobody can get me. when i finally picked up my phone, i had 9 missed calls. so after much commotion with box's staff n boss n me, i had to cancel my tuition n cab down to work but reach only at 12 plus.. guess james tht history do repeat itself so didn call the shop this time n just called me to go down to open the shop directly. haha..but on my way i got a call from the agency saying they have 1 mth temp admin job for me at jurong east $6/hr. i'm going down for interview tml, hopefully i can get tt job. i think God's really moving in my life, think the bs last sat wasn't a coincidence but really a appointed time. The bs teacher shared bout her story on speaking in tongues n how she was very much encouraged n began to speak in tongues in the showers in the morning n encouraged us also to do likewise. so i tried n things juz started happening.. on mon, i received news from ntu tt my appeal had been successful, n becoz now tt i've got a sch i got to decide if i'm gonna continue to work at the box but derrick asked me to look for a better job n earn more for sch at the same tim maximise my time n i'm like dunno can find or not coz only left 1 mth will be diffcult. den on tues which is today i got a job offer coming to my doorstep itself. PTL! it's really timely u see. i think there's really tremendous power in praying in tongues. sometimes we don even noe how to go about praying but the holy spirit noes our heart n desires n needs so when we prayed in tongues actually the holy spirit is really praying for the exact thing tt we need. it's like wat the verse in rom 8:26 says "Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered." hope this will encourage you peeps to speak in tongues always praying w/o ceasing. PTL!=)

this morning i was happily zzzing away den my stupid hp beep beep n woke me up so i juz picked up my phone n look at the sms with my beady eyes which i seriously cant opened -not enough slp u see- n was surprise to see a msg from NTU! NTU eh! sms me eh! early in the morning! haha n.. . .. . .. . .. *drumroll*. . . . ok la, i shall cut the chase think u all can guess le la.. is GOOD GOOD NEWS! hahha.. my appeal successful!!! heee....

o and today amk hub aircon tripped! think the whole shopping mall no aircon.. really warm can... n it's not the first time le i tink... alrite tt's all i wanna blog today.. haha nite dudes!

thank God for fwens... lovely fwens... thx for the cheesecake from cy n karine! thx for the donut n curry puff from ah fang! hee.. i'm a happy ger like jasleen..haha

anyway, heard tt shy jian fei successful, congrats wor..haa.. i tink i'm the fattest among u gals now le ba, haha.. i'm bout 49kg eh..plus minus 1kg..life too good already, been lazing ard too much..haha.. looking at the past i've no idea how i managed to stay at 40kg...lolx.. time to shed some i mean alot of pounds..hahaa.. provided i can stop being a glutton n dear fwens stop being so sweet...haha..

after so many mths, i finally felt like i don need certain things in my life, i'm pretty satisfied as it is now. =)
